We’re excited to share that Cathy Cox’s quilt, 'Star of Reflection,' just won a Blue Ribbon at the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It’s a great honor for our family and our quilting tradition. Soil, Stitch, and 75 Years of Tradition
Our family has been working this craft for almost 75 years, keeping the traditions we love alive. From the beautiful long arm quilting we provide in the studio to the blue-ribbon quilts we stitch, everything here is done with real care. We want to show you what a typical day in the studio looks like. It is a place where professional production meets traditional craftsmanship, and where every animal, and every finished quilt has a story to tell.

We believe in doing things the right way, whether that’s completing a long arm project or finishing a quilt. Our family has spent 75 years working this land to provide high-quality grass-fed beef, while Cathy’s studio produces expertly quilted pieces meant to be cherished for a lifetime. We take pride in what we do and are glad to share the best of our craft and our work with you.
